OUR STORY

Riverina Yoga Studio was founded in 2012 in Griffith in order to support and foster a sense of mindfulness and peace in the surrounding community. We offer a variety of approaches to achieve and maintain your optimal health. Whether you are experiencing pain or simply want to improve your physical and mental wellbeing, Riverina Yoga Studio provides a healing and friendly environment to do so. We are a COVID safe studio.
Please stay home if you are unwell.
Bring your own mat and a towel or blanket. Maintain 1.5 meters spacing between mats. 
Use the hand sanitiser provided upon entry and wipe down all equipment at the end of your class.

Sue loves to incorporate all of her studies into her classes to bring students a sense of relaxation and ease.
She combines gentle movement with a thorough understanding of asana , breath and relaxation. Sue specialises in Restorative Yoga classes . As the ultimate relaxation practice, these classes help students to deal with an increasingly complicated and stressful world.
Her classes are open to all ages and ability.

Janine's passion is to share  the life changing benefits of a committed yoga and meditation practice with her students. Through her warmth and generosity, Janine has helped hundreds of students achieve profound changes on physical, mental and emotional levels. She acknowledges and accepts where each student is at and through many years experience she is able to tailor each class appropriately. Janine loves seeing the transformative power that yoga and meditation has on her students. She teaches in the Iyengar Yoga method which is characterised by attention to detail and alignment. YOGA AND DEEP RELAXATION

Friday 9.30 am - Yoga and Deep Relaxation
 

A Hatha class will likely be a slow-paced stretching class with some simple breathing exercises and meditation. This is a good place to learn relaxation techniques and become comfortable with yoga.


Hatha yoga is a path toward creating balance and uniting opposites. In our physical bodies we develop a balance of strength and flexibility. We also learn to balance our effort and surrender in each pose.

Hatha yoga is a powerful tool for self-transformation. It asks us to bring our attention to our breath, which helps us to still the fluctuations of the mind and be more present in the unfolding of each moment.

Steven is our newest teacher to the studio.  He has been an enthusiastic part of the fitness industry for many years and has seen the benefits that yoga brings first hand.  He offers a friendly and fun approach to yoga.
